Navigating special education can feel overwhelming, but I’m here to guide you every step of the way. I’ll help clarify your child’s needs, explain evaluation results, and work with you to apply those findings in the classroom. Together, we’ll explore your school district’s FAPE (Free Appropriate Public Education) process and identify the services, programs, and accommodations that will support your child’s success. My goal is to make this process clear and stress-free, so you feel confident in the path forward.

If you're unsure whether special education is the right option for your child, I’m here to listen and support you in making an informed decision. I’ll help you understand your child’s unique needs, explore available options, and guide you through the next steps. Whether through special education or alternative supports, I’ll work with you to create a plan that ensures your child’s needs are met with care and consideration, helping you feel supported and confident in your choices.
As your trusted advocate, I’ll connect with the school team on your behalf, working with teachers and specialists to develop appropriate goals and implement research-backed instructional methods that align with your child’s needs. I’ll attend IEP and other related meetings, facilitating meaningful discussions to ensure your concerns are addressed and your child receives the support they deserve.
Alongside this, I’ll guide you through the entire IEP process, explaining the key components, decoding confusing jargon, and clarifying school evaluations and procedures. Together, we’ll break down reports and review IEPs and other documents before you sign them, so you understand what’s being agreed upon. I’ll also ensure you are fully informed of your parental rights and protections.
Before and after each meeting, I’ll debrief with you, offering clear guidance and addressing any questions you may have. Additionally, I’ll follow up periodically to monitor your child’s progress, making sure they are on track for success and that they continue to receive the support they need.
Every child’s learning journey is unique, and sometimes, a Special Education plan may not be the right fit. For those students who may not qualify for special education but still need support, I offer Customized Learning Solutions. This service provides personalized strategies to address your child’s specific learning needs and challenges.
I’ll work closely with you to assess your child’s strengths and areas for growth, and together, we’ll develop a plan that includes actionable steps, recommended resources, and outside services that can help. Additionally, I collaborate with school staff to provide suggestions and monitoring components, ensuring that the plan is effectively implemented and that your child’s success is consistently supported both at home and in school.
